Not all of theses events coincide with the weekend so they may require your London break to take place during the working week, or to extend beyond the weekend.

December 2010

    Here is a selection of some of the Christmas events for London 2010.

    You can see the impressive Christmas lights at - Oxford Street, Bond Street, Regent Street and Marylebone Street.

    There are a number of different Christmas festivals and fairs at various times and in different locations around the city. There are also Christmas shows, specialist food fairs and more. These events can be found in venues like the Barbican, the Southbank Centre, the Royal Albert Hall and even St. Paul’s Cathedral.

    The Trafalgar Square Christmas tree and Christmas carols event is a great visual and audible feast for the senses.

    The Winter Wonderland event at Hyde Park is an annual event that is probably the largest single event of its kind and features an ice rink, circus, food market and much more.

    The Spirit of Christmas Fair at Olympia with ideas and products for everything connected with turning your home into a celebration of Christmas.

    Traffic free shopping day on Saturday the 27 December, just after the big day, when cars will be kept out of the West End.
