Guards Memorial, St. James Park

Directly opposite "Horse Guards Parade", Whitehall, and on the edge of St. James' Park, this memorial celebrates those who lost their lives in the Great War (World War I) between the years 1914 and 1918.

The memorial was erected in 1926 and sits imposingly in a small enclosed grass lawn overlooked by Horse Guards Parade.
